Rob Murphy, MBA, FACHE

With over 20 years of healthcare experience, Rob Murphy started his career providing patient care as a nuclear medicine technologist and progressed into leadership roles including medical imaging manager, director of operations and senior facility administrator. During his time in leadership, he opened a free standing imaging center, multiple ambulatory care facilities and was the senior leader of a community hospital with one of the largest statewide and national healthcare providers. Rob has a passion for improving the patient care experience, developing dynamic leadership teams and creating resilient physician partnerships. Before joining Studer Group, Rob experienced firsthand the impact of hardwiring Evidence-Based LeadershipSM and its success on improving metrics across all pillars. Rob has led facilities to sustain patient satisfaction results above the 90th percentile, and his outpatient services departments have been recognized as top performing departments including the highest performing facility in the statewide system for employee satisfaction at the 93rd percentile. He has led facilities to LWBS (left without beign seen) rates consistently below 1 percent, perfect care for surgery and emergency department at 100 percent, and facilitated significant improvements in readmissions, core measures, length of stay and hospital acquired conditions. Rob was able to improve engagement at all levels, while also decreasing expenses that led to financial success.
