George is a seasoned financial professional well versed in leading change management in complex organizatons. He assists organizations with translating operational issues into financial understanding to drive change. George has significant experience in driving growth and restructuring organizations.

Professional Experience

Prior to joining Huron, George served as CFO of Studer Group, which was acquired by Huron in 2015. Other roles have included Chief Financial Officer of Global 360, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SoftBrands, Inc., Chief Financial Officer of Sterling Software, Inc., Chief Financial Officer and Founder of Sterling Commerce, Inc., a spin-off of Sterling Software, and Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Communities Foundation of Texas.

  • Provided executive leadership to successful exits for three private equity backed firms
  • Led over $4 billion of financing including three Initial Public Offerings
  • Drove strategy for nonprofit and for-profit organizations from small nonprofits to large corporations
