With over 20 years of experience in healthcare, Angie brings passion, knowledge, and experience to drive performance and engagement of their patients, staff, and providers. Angie has coached partners across the country ranging in size from 20,000 visits to over 150,000 visits a year and connects each partner with what will make them successful in reaching their goals. Senior leaders appreciate her direct approach and true partnership in helping their organizations grow and become successful. Angie is the Coach Leader of the Emergency Service line at Studer Group.

Professional Experience

Angie has over 20 years of clinical nursing and administrative experience in emergency, trauma, and critical care. She is a graduate of Pensacola Christian College, has a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and a dual Master’s degree in Nursing and Business Administration, and is a certified nurse executive through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. A selection of her results as an ED expert coach are moving patient satisfaction from 3rd percentile to 98th percentile, reducing length-of-stay in emergency departments from greater than 4 hours to less than 90 minutes, and improving patient flow to decrease patient placement from greater than 4-6 hours to less than 1 hour. She connects passionately with all levels, from frontline staff to senior leaders, and inspires them to create a culture of consistency and accountability to provide excellent care for every patient, every time. She has been instrumental in helping organizations achieve enhanced operational efficiency, financial return on investment, and clinical quality outcomes.

Signature Engagements

  • Led ED work at a large level 1 trauma, academic, safety net hospital with a volume of 150,000; reduced LWBS from 20 to 3 percent, reduced door to provider time from 6 hours to 20 minutes, reduced LOS from 24 to 6 hours, and improved patient experience 1 percent to 65 percent
  • Led work at a large health system, improving throughput process and patient experience to above 75th percentile
  • Led assessment teams for large systems to create focused process improvement plan to improve patient throughput and patient experience
