Allison is a highly regarded leader, clinician and coach with over 30 years’ healthcare industry experience in both clinical and managerial roles.

Professional Experience

Allison has held a variety of roles ranging from clinical nurse, nurse practitioner, nurse unit manager, director of nursing, general manager and executive director across clinical settings, management roles, quality and safety and education, in a variety of acute and aged care systems in both Australia and the UK. She also has highly developed leadership skills, is customer-focused and successful in driving results across varied environments.

Allison commenced her career in the acute care sector and rose through both clinical and management ranks becoming a nurse practitioner in the UK and then holding numerous operational management roles including chief executive officer and director of nursing in both the public and private sectors. Following her successful roles in acute and community care, she moved to the aged care sector where she worked in the regulatory, policy and accreditation areas and operational management roles across the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. Allison has also held numerous general manager and director roles across portfolios of operations, safety, risk, quality and policy. She has a comprehensive knowledge of healthcare standards, polices and accreditation systems, and she is also a lead auditor with ISO 19011. Allison has a special interest in coaching and mentoring people to be successful.
