Shands Rehab Hospital

Shands Rehab Hospital is a 40-bed rehabilitation and physical medicine hospital providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services in physical medicine, occupational, recreational, physical and speech therapy. Established in 1987 in Gainesville Fla., Shands Rehab Hospital is one of nine hospitals in the Shands HealthCare system, a private not-for-profit health system located in north central Florida.

In 2004, Shands HealthCare engaged Studer Group to advance a culture of service and operational excellence and launched "BEST" Building Excellent Service Together" program throughout the system.
