Role Model What You Want
Change is hard…and there is plenty to go around as healthcare reshapes itself. That’s why it is so critical that the chief executive and his or her team demonstrate “what right looks like” through their own communication style every day.
Since that’s easier said than done, we’re sharing practical tools (See “Power Communication Skills for the C-Suite” on page 2) courtesy of Studer Group’s Bob Murphy and Terre Short in this issue of Hardwired Results. As a former hospital CEO himself, Bob understands the heavy lifting that senior leaders must do to hardwire a culture of excellence. Terre brings decades of leadership coaching experience to her recommendations.
