Monika has more than 25 years of healthcare leadership experience with a focus in operational and project management. She has been influential in achieving organizational growth and change for a variety of healthcare organizations.

About Monika

With more than two decades of healthcare leadership experience concentrated in operational and project management, Monika has been influential in helping organizations transform and achieve long-term growth. She specializes in working with healthcare leaders to align goals in order to deliver exceptional patient care.

Throughout her career, Monika has guided a multitude of organizations to generate year-over-year improvement across their Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) composites and quality indicators. She is an expert in advising providers on ways to increase inpatient nursing satisfaction scores annually while decreasing turnover through leader rounding, peer interviews and 30/90 day interviews.

Prior to joining Huron, Monika held several nursing leadership roles where she was responsible for strategic system initiatives. She was director of nursing at Halifax Health, a Level II trauma center, where she had operational responsibility for medical, surgical and critical care units across two campuses.

Monika has received Palmetto Gold recognition as one of the top 100 nurses in South Carolina, as well as the South Carolina League of Nursing’s excellence award.
