Janice Crenshaw , RN, MSN

 

Janice Crenshaw (pronounced Jan-eese) has an impressive 27 year background in healthcare. A Registered Nurse with a diverse clinical and administrative background, she understands the issues that organizations face in creating positive cultural change across the healthcare continuum.

Janice’s experience as the Officer of Corporate Diversity with Baptist Health Care in Pensacola, FL and professional nursing career reinforces her commitment to making health care a better place for physicians to practice medicine, employees to work and patients to receive care. She knows how to develop and refine processes to improve patient and employee satisfaction to achieve desired results.

Service: She has been a visiting home health nurse, assistant head nurse of a med surg unit, nutritional support nurse and IV therapy team manager.

People: She has taken care of patients in almost all departments of the hospital at some time in her career and has been the liaison with the Medical Staff and all ancillary departments.

Quality: Director of Nursing for Quality Management for 600+ nursing personnel hospital-wide. She coordinated two JCAHO Surveys with no type one recommendations in Nursing for 1993 and 1996, with a total overall score of 97.

Growth: As officer of Corporate Diversity, worked with community agencies, businesses & universities for collaborative health care need identification for career path development for lateral and upward mobility at all levels of the organization.

Finance: Managed a diversity budget that supported recruitment, community outreach programs, employee training, and cultural celebrations.

Janice Crenshaw is a life long learner and has studied at several universities, receiving an Associates of Science in Nursing, from Pensacola Junior College, Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of West Florida, Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama, and a Doctorate degree in Divinity. She is also a professional singer, song writer, and book author.
