LHC Group Hires Quality Consultant

LHC Group Inc., the home-health firm based in Lafayette, announced a partnership today that will focus on quality control issues in the health-care industry.

LHC will work with the Studer Group, a consultant that has assisted hundreds of health-care systems, hospitals and medical groups in the past decade. A focus on employee retention, greater customer satisfaction, improved financial results and greater market share are aims of the partnership, LHC said.

"By entering into this partnership with the Studer Group, our existing and future hospital joint-venture partners will clearly understand that … patient care and quality service is our first priority," said LHC chief executive Keith Myers.
