This reinforces all that is right in ED healthcare. Please note in the “Quick Executive Action” section, the public commitment to positive change by the (then) new CEO, Jeff Brickman – he ran ads in the local media validating the communities’ historical perception and committed to changing the ED to improve care and service (talk about a burning platform!) Prior to his leadership, the ED initiatives never gained consistent traction. Now, they are consistent high performers.
