Local Newspaper Recognizes the Lifetime Achievements and Work of Quint Studer and the Studer Group

The local newspaper in Pensacola, Florida, spotlights Quint Studer, his career from beginning to present, his hobbies, and his personal triumphs. Here's an excerpt from the three-page article in the June 15 issue of The Pensacola News Journal:

"His journey is filled with life-changing moments, but it can be simplified to one fact: Studer discovered he likes helping people. He took that attitude into health care, where he made his mark at Holy Cross Hospital in Chicago and at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola.

His consulting job takes him all over the country, to places as large as Atlanta and as small as Pekin, Ill. Studer travels 200 days a year, working through the air on the company's twin turbo- prop plane and in hotel suites late into the night.

His work schedule is so crammed that it bleeds into vacation, much to the chagrin of his wife and co-baseball owner, Rishy, who is so dedicated to the Pelicans that she spends many evenings in her garage printing souvenir T-shirts. Aside from a Christmas cruise, the Studers haven't taken a vacation in three years.

But Studer doesn't complain. He loves every minute."
