Pam
Beitlich, RN
Coach
After meeting Quint Studer in 1999, Pam made it her mission to help create a better culture at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. She helped Sarasota achieve that by moving patient satisfaction from the 15th percentile to the 95th, and employee turnover from 25 % to 15%. The Florida Sterling Quality Award in 2001 and Magnet Status for Nursing in 2003 were also defining achievements for the hospital. A former ED Nurse and Nursing Administrator in many different roles, Pam has a background in hospital operations. She is especially comfortable working with Senior Leaders, Physicians and Nurses, to align their goals with behavior to achieve operational excellence. Pam has coached both single hospitals, as well as large hospital systems and enjoys the challenges with all of them. An articulate presenter, Pam is passionate about contributing to the Studer Group mission of changing the face of healthcare across the country. She understands the persistence it takes to shift a hospital culture, and has personally experienced the satisfaction it brings to watch an organization become one where employees want to work, physicians want to practice medicine and patients receive very good healthcare. |
"An important way to improve the quality of patient care and patient satisfaction is to create an environment where people want to work. If I can help re-ignite a leader's passion, and that in turn enables a culture change at the organization, then I will be doing my part in helping us get back to our original purpose ? giving patients the best possible care."
