The HCAHPS Summit

Good HCAHPS performance is critical. In fact, it's the key that unlocks the door to improvement in all other areas impacted by Value Based Purchasing: Process of Care measures, preventable readmissions, HACs and more. Why? Because there is a proven link between patient perception of care and clinical quality—these outcomes go hand-in-hand. Master the behaviors that move HCAHPS results and in the process you'll create the foundation that empowers your team to consistently excel—in all quality measures.

That's why we've mobilized our top quality experts to host the Studer Group HCAHPS Summit. This intensive two-day institute will immerse you in the behaviors and tactics proven to improve HCAHPS results and drive clinical quality. You'll discover the cultural factors that hold employees accountable and accelerate your ability to provide the kind of transformative care organizations need to thrive in the Age of Quality.

Excellence in the Emergency Department: Hardwiring Flow and Patient Experience

The Emergency Department is the "front door" to the healthcare organization. Nationally, the ED accounts for 50 percent of inpatient admissions, 75 percent of plain radiographs, and 50 percent of CT scans and ultrasounds in the entire hospital. The experience patients have in the ED will impact their perception of their entire visits. It all works together organically. That's why it's so critical to make a good "first impression."

The forces reshaping our industry are driving physicians into an ever-brighter spotlight. And regardless of which healthcare delivery model ends up rising to the top, we know these men and women will play a pivotal role—to an unprecedented degree. It's critical that physicians are aligned with and engaged in organizational efforts, deeply involved in improvement strategies, and loyal to the system for which they work. In fact, it's the key to best-in-class clinical care and service.
